Light Root Farm and Learning Center with Natural Highs

The City of Boulder Open Space and Mt. Parks (OSMP) is collaborating with Natural Highs (a Teen Peer Mentor Leadership Program) to cultivate herbal apothecary at Light Root Farm and Learning Center for overall wellness and health. We are currently recruiting teens and teens and families on select Tuesdays this season to plant and harvest medicinal herbs, learn hands-on information about wellness and medicinal properties of the herbs, and connection with farm animals (cows, chickens and piglets, etc.). Along with an increased knowledge of the City of Boulder OSMP agricultural farm lease program on a regenerative organic sustainable farm with a holistic approach.
