Welcome to the City of Boulder's platform for events and volunteer opportunities. Explore the different types of educational opportunities, hikes, volunteer projects and ongoing volunteer programs happening in the City of Boulder on this platform.
Please note that all organizations listed under the "Community Partners" tab are not operated or managed by the City of Boulder, nor does the City of Boulder monitor or review the content of Community Partner pages. Volunteers need to work directly with Community Partners to volunteer or participate in their activities and any content reflects only the positions of the Community Partners.

How do you know if something is a volunteer opportunity or an event? Be sure to check to see if the event says "Volunteer/Service Opportunity" or "Event" under the date. All items labeled as an "Event" are educational opportunities, hikes, or programs. All opportunities to volunteer for will say "Volunteer/Service Opportunity" below the date. You can refine your search by searching by type at the top of the event section.

How do I know if the project is appropriate for my physical skill level? Start by reading the requirements for the project you are interested in volunteering for. If you are still unsure, find the staff member listed on the right side of the project description and click "message" to send them an email inquiring for more information.
How do I request accommodation or tools for effective communication for a volunteer opportunity? To request an auxiliary aid or service (such as a sign language interpreter) or accommodation to access a program, please contact the Program Coordinator/Contact for the opportunity listed on the right side of the project description. Please provide as much advance notice as possible to help ensure availability.
