Weedy Wednesdays

Maria is a wonderful coordinator, and Ashley was full of light and conversation. I had a great morning working with them and the volunteers, playing in the dirt pulling weeds. It would be great to understand what will get planted in the empty places where the weeds were; bare dirt is going to grow more weeds and plants with deep roots helps hold the dirt in place. I would encourage the City to expand the program and remove the hiring freeze so that the services the City relies upon can be delivered in a meaningful way to residents.
