OSMP Community Volunteer Project with Water Resources -- April 8

Project Description

Volunteers will help the OSMP Water Resources Team to maintain the Silver Lake Ditch corridor picking up litter for further maintenance. The Water Resources Natural Resource Specialist will provide more information on the transportation of water for agricultural lands and how these diverted water flows also changed the ecology of Boulder Valley. This project site will be on the Silver Lake Ditch adjoining Foothills Trailhead through Boulder Valley Ranch supporting water delivery in the Silver Lake Ditch and its end of Mesa Reservoir for wildlife and wetland habitat along with the overall ecological benefits of that area.  

 Note: OSMP will provide lunch for volunteers.
