Sanitas Trail Work Days

Join a City of Boulder Open Space & Mountain Parks trail crew to help maintain trails on Mount Sanitas! This is a challenging volunteer opportunity with a difficult and steep hike to the worksite. Most work will be occurring near the summit - volunteers should come prepared to hike 3-4 miles roundtrip in dynamic terrain. Lunch will be provided. 

Where: Centennial Trailhead

When: 8am - 3pm

PREPARATION FOR THE DAY:

• Three liters of water & snacks
• Sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots (no "five finger" types of shoes, sandals, etc.)
• Rain jacket
• Personal first aid kit, if you have one (OSMP will have a group first aid kit)
• Backpack to carry personal items
• Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen
• Clothing appropriate for weather conditions

Dress appropriately for Colorado weather and to work in an outdoor setting off trail. If volunteers come unprepared, you will not be allowed on the project site.
